Broadcom’s official knowledge base article (ID 461395, updated November 2, 2026) states that beginning November 5, 2026, Symantec VIP is introducing support for Passkey (FIDO2 / WebAuthn) authentication within the VIP Manager administration portal. Administrators can configure and use passkeys for signing into VIP Manager. The feature is disabled by default and must be enabled by organizations.
